Car-to-Car Shooting on Residential Street
On Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 9:56 p.m., deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Station responded to a shooting on the 16700 block of Hollyhock Drive in the City of Moreno Valley.
Suspects Arrested for Operating a Brothel
On June 21, 2023, as part of a human trafficking investigation, the Palm Desert Business District Team, Special Enforcement Team, and Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force served a search warrant at a spa business in the 74000 block of Alessandro Drive, in the City of Palm Desert.
Shooting at Populated Shopping Destination
On June 20, 2023, the Palm Desert Investigations Bureau and Riverside County Gang Impact Team served a search warrant in the 66000 block of San Remo in Desert Hot Springs. Daniel Santacroce, a 19-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, was arrested for his involvement in this shooting.
Deputy-Involved Shooting
On Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11:31 PM, a deputy from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station conducted a check of an occupied vehicle in the area of Bromley Avenue and Baker Street in Lake Elsinore.
Anti-Human Trafficking Operation
On June 19, 2023, the Moreno Valley Station, Problem Oriented Policing (POP), Gang Team, and Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) along with the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) conducted a comprehensive “John” prostitution sting in an effort to reduce the demand for sex trafficking in the city of Moreno Valley.
