We shouldn’t believe our lying eyes as elected leaders are harassed in bathrooms and at weddings. There weren’t riots across the country last year where blocks of major cities were taken over for months, local state and federal authorities expelled and declared autonomous and in open rebellion. Government buildings weren’t being besieged and police precincts set on fire with the doors sealed with people inside. Dozens lost their lives in these riots, billions in dollars of damages were done. Your friends asked the American people to bail the rioters out of jail, and said they were peaceful, they were justified in their rebellious inserruction.

It is really amazing how these things are supposed to be ignored. It is the racists we should be worried about, like the angry parents protesting their kids being taught to villify a color of skin, and judge people by the color of their skin. Those are who the DOJ should investigate. There is nothing wrong with telling people to “be less (insert color of skin),” as long as the target is the right one.

“Oh, how did we get to this level of public discourse where crowds chant profanities about the president?” You lament after cheering on 4 years of profanity laced diatribes in awards shows, severed heads, and homophobic jokes on network late night shows.
