It doesn’t recognize it’s demographics. If you want local support $125 per plate for one night of fundraising entertainment is absurd for the socioeconomic status of this community. That is a modest week of groceries for a family of 5 or one special night out to dinner for ALL of us, not just one plate of food.

Try to lift up our community instead of breaking them down for not being “Hollywood” enough. Maybe an event where the community (artisains & food vendors) can make a little and a percentage goes to the bowl. Shame on you Mr. Straight, for putting down our Hemet & San Jacinto residents and calling them cruel. What’s cruel is the inaccessibility to the beauty of the bowl to the majority residence of the valley.
