Matt and paul passed away. First paul with his COPD and emphizima . Then 3days short of a month later Matt passed in his sleep at his mother’s house.
Matt and paul were like my dad and brother when paul passed I cried . But when Matt passed I still cry and see him everywhere. I remember there was a day I was at pails camp and talking about a riverbottom wedding and paul had stayed ” I’ll walk u down the isle.” .. and that’s when I knew we were a family. And became open to the idea of finally having a family. It’s been at most 4 years since they passed and as I type this I am crying.
The river bottom. People are a family and always will be. I love and miss all of you.

That’s a shame, I remember this family before homelessness, they lived in one of the bigger track homes outside the riverbed. A far better home then I lived in. I remember Matt needed some help cashing his “check” so I asked my very responsible younger sister if she could help, she did. After she deposited the check to her account and gave Matt the cash, her account was over drawn 1600.00 and to my surprise Matt was no where to be found. Until months later I found him walking through his track homes. I simply hit him in the face and requested his shoes,he gave them to me and continued his walk. I’m not proud of what had happen nor do I think he or his dad should suffer in these living conditions. I pity him and feel really bad for his dad mainly. Get your shit together Matt

That is an awesome story about the Lujans. I met Matt back around a year ago. It’s been a quite some time Since I had heard anything from him. I really hope the end of this story is a good one. He is a very kind hearted guy an so is is dad. Good luck to you Matt
