RagDolls – Covering all of the recognizable material from Aerosmith’s five decades as one of America’s rock & roll legends, RagDolls deliver blistering true to sound reproductions for fans of both the classic rock period as well as the more recent MTV era hits.

These women of rock pay homage to the Bad Boys from Boston in full regalia, paying special attention to the little details that define a genuine Aerosmith experience. Vocalist Susie Major gets in your face with her Steven Tyler-esque wails and stage antics, while Ali Handal rattles your eardrums on lead guitar with all the grit and bluesy appeal that is Joe Perry.

The band is sure to leave you with the same Aerosmith buzz you’d expect from the real thing – The Screams, The Swagger, The scarves, with a cherry on top…

Audiences can expect:

WALK THIS WAY – SWEET EMOTION – DREAM ON – LAST CHILD – LIVIN’ ON THE EDGE – CRYIN’ – I DON’T WANT TO MISS A THING – WHAT IT TAKES – LOVE IN AN ELEVATOR – RAGDOLL – THE OTHER SIDE – JANIE’S GOT A GUN – TOYS IN THE ATTIC – MAMA KIN – SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE – BACK IN THE SADDLE – DRAW THE LINE – TRAIN KEPT A-ROLLIN’

…and many more!

“With so much talent, so much charisma, and gritty rock & roll, they quickly dispel the moniker of an “All-Female” Aerosmith Tribute….They are as good or better than any gender-specific band….They are, in one word…superb” – The Greene Room Magazine

Last weekend’s Tribute to Aerosmith brought fans from across Southern California and beyond to celebrate the music of Steven Tyler and Aerosmith. Aeromyth performed a flawless recreation of a high-energy show by the iconic 1970’s hard rock band. Even before the band took the stage, fans flowed down to the foot of the stage, to get a close-up look at the band.

After the show, dozens of fans stayed to take photos with the band, raving that this could be the best show ever. But then, that sentiment seems to be a regular reaction at Hemet’s popular concert venue.

This show was the band’s first appearance at HHT. As usual, they loved the crisp acoustics of the auditorium, the talented tech team that dialed in their soundcheck in record time, and most of all the enthusiastic crowd that clapped and cheered at a thunderous volume from the first song to the last.

CONCERT: The audience was excited to hear the great hits of their favorite band. | Photo Courtesy
of Susan Carrier

Next up is the Tribute to REO Speedwagon on Saturday, August 3rd. Ridin’ The Strom Out will bring their hard-Rockin’ show, filled with classic hits like “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” and “Take It On The Run.”

Meanwhile, patrons holding tickets for the canceled Tribute to Tom Petty on Saturday, August 17th, need to bring their tickets to the Box Office. Tickets can be exchanged for the replacement show, a Tribute to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac by Gypsy. Tickets can also be exchanged for any other show or a refund.

Season Three begins in late August, with:

Tribute to Madonna (8/31)

Tribute to The Beach Boys (9/14)

Tribute to The Eagles (9/28)

Tribute to The Beatles (10/12)

Tribute to Buddy Holly & the Legends of Rock & Roll (10/26)

Tribute to Huey Lewis & the News (11/2)

Tribute to The Blues Brothers (11/23)

Tribute to Styx (12/7)

The country music Friday Nite Live Series continues with:

Young Guns of Country – Tribute to the Superstars of Country Music (8/23)

Tribute to Brooks & Dunn (9/20)

Tribute to Roy Orbison (10/4)

Tribute to Reba McEntire (11/8)

Tribute to Keith Urban (12/13)

Tickets for Tribute Mania and Friday Nite Live shows are $22 presale / $25 day of show. Showtime is 7:00 pm, with doors open at 6:15 pm.
The Historic Hemet Theatre has announced five more concerts in their popular Friday Nite Live Concert Series. Since January, the Friday series has boosted the concert schedule to three per month and provided much-needed funding for the Foundation. The Friday concert series mainly features groups that perform tributes to country western musicians.

The new Friday night concerts are:

Friday, July 12th – Tribute to Tim McGraw, featuring Vegas McGraw

Friday August 23rd – Young Guns of Country (Tribute to the Superstars of
Country Music), including Charlie Daniels Band, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks,
George Strait, Florida Georgia Line and many more.

Friday, September 20th – Tribute to Brooks & Dunn, featuring Neon Circus

Friday, October 4th – Tribute to Roy Orbison, with Neil Marrow

Friday, November 8th – Tribute to Reba McEntire – Corrie Sachs

MEANWHILE…

The Mighty Cash Cats made us remember Johnny Cash

The Mighty Cash Cats were a successful making everybody sing. | Photo by Susan Carrier

The latest concert in the Friday Nite Live Series took the stage on Friday, June 14th. The Mighty Cash Cats performed their nostalgic Tribute to Johnny Cash. This was the group’s first time playing Hemet’s downtown art center, discovering for themselves what other bands have been saying for years… little old Hemet has the best concert venue in Southern California.

For this show, the crowd was small, but enthusiastic, clapping and cheering every classic hit. Many songs drew dancers to the foot of the stage, rocking to that iconic Johnny Cash beat. Michael J. Smith as Johnny Cash was impressive, but Leticia Blumette as June Carter Cash stole the show with a voice that gripped the room with emotion. Afterward, the audience proclaimed the show another hit performance and the band told the fans that Hemet is now their favorite place to play.

Later this month, Season Two of the Tribute Mania Concert Series continues with tributes to Santana (6/22), Led Zeppelin (7/6), Aerosmith (7/20), REO Speedwagon (8/3), and Tom Petty (8/17).

On Saturday May 25th, fans of the Allman Brothers converged on downtown Hemet for the premier appearance by RAMBLIN’ MAN at the Historic Hemet Theatre.

The holiday weekend crowd was unusually light, but the energy level in the auditorium felt like a full house. The band kept the fans clapping and cheering from start to finish, clearly demonstrating why they are considered the premier tribute band for the classic sound of the Allman Brothers. Dozens of dancers flocked to the dance floor to catch a closer look at the stunning guitar riffs and moving to the beat provided by the group’s two drummers.

After the concert, band members joined the fans on the dance floor for a flurry of photos and compliments. Yet another outstanding show for Hemet’s community arts center.

The concert was the second in Season Two of the popular Tribute Mania Concert Series. The season continues with tributes to Bob Seger (6/8), Santana (6/22), Led Zeppelin (7/6), Aerosmith (7/20), REO Speedwagon (8/3) and Tom Petty (8/17).

Upcoming concerts in the Friday Nite Live series include tributes to Creedence Clearwater Revival (5/31) and Johnny Cash (6/14).
