On November 3, 2022, at 7:00 AM, members of the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), served a search warrant at a residence located in the 84700 block of Avenue 51 in the city of Coachella. The search warrant stemmed from a shooting incident which occurred on October 9, 2022, at a residence in the 85300 block of Cairo Street in the city of Coachella. During the investigation, CCAT deputies identified a male juvenile documented criminal street gang member as the shooting suspect. The male juvenile was taken into custody during the search warrant and was booked at the Indio Juvenile Hall for attempted homicide.

On June 17, 2022, at 11:36 A.M., patrol deputies assigned to the city of Coachella and the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), responded to a shooting which occurred at an okra ranch located in the 46-300 block of Dillon Road. While deputies were responding, they received information the suspect shot at workers in a field. Members of CCAT arrived and detained the suspect, who was identified as Eduardo Pantaleon, a 19-year-old resident of Coachella. A loaded handgun was located and seized. The victims were not injured during the shooting. Pantaleon was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio for attempted homicide and negligent discharge of a firearm.

On June 10, 2022, at 3:32 P.M., patrol deputies assigned to the city of Coachella and the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), responded to a shooting which occurred in the 50-900 block of Chiapas Drive in the city of Coachella. Investigation revealed the suspect shot multiple times at the victim who was standing in his front yard. The victim was not injured during the shooting. CCAT assumed the investigation which led them to the suspects residence located in the 50-600 block of Chiapas Drive. 

With the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, CCAT Served a search warrant at the suspects residence. The suspect, Ramiro Reyes, a 20-year-old resident of Coachella, was taken into custody without incident. A search of the residence was conducted, and a short barreled sawed-off shotgun was located and seized. Reyes was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center, in the city of Indio, for attempt homicide and possession of a short barreled shotgun.

During the search warrant service, the suspected weapons used in the assault were located and seized. Documented gang member and convicted felon Adrian Singleterry, 31 of Indio, was arrested for attempt homicide, conspiracy to commit attempt homicide, felon in possession of a firearm, and a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Parole hold. Also arrested was April Singleterry, 18 of Indio, for attempt homicide, conspiracy to commit attempt homicide, and aiding in a felony after the fact. Both Adrian Singleterry and April Singleterry were booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
