Update:

The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Investigations Bureau assumed the investigation and identified the suspect as Christian Chavez, a 36-year-old resident of San Pedro. On January 25, 2024, at about 2:00 p.m., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office’s Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team assisted the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Investigations Bureau in serving a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of West Channel Street, San Pedro. During the warrant service, Chavez was taken into custody without incident, and items related to the shooting investigation were located and collected from the residence. Chavez was later transported to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station for processing and was subsequently booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted murder. The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Details:

On Monday, January 22, 2024, Deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a gun shot victim in the area of Hemlock Avenue and Pigeon Pass Road in the City of Moreno Valley, Riverside County.  Deputies arrived and located a victim who had been shot.  Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital.  It was determined that the shooting occurred in the 22000 block of Scarlet Sage Way in the City of Moreno Valley, Riverside County.  Deputies responded to the location of occurrence, contacted witnesses, and located evidence.  The suspect fled before the arrival of deputies and remains at large.

Investigators from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded and assumed the investigation.

Details:

On July 15, 2023, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 15000 block of Moreno Beach Drive, Moreno Valley, regarding a domestic violence incident. Upon arriving, deputies met with the victim and immediately noticed injuries consistent with an assault. The victim stated she was assaulted on July 14, 2023, and sustained significant injuries to her head which resulted in the loss of consciousness. The victim was ultimately able to escape and notify law enforcement.

On July 17, 2023, the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Investigations Bureau identified the suspect as a 16-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. A search warrant was served at the suspect’s residence, where he was located, and placed under arrest without incident. The suspect was transported and booked into Riverside County Juvenile Hall for attempted homicide and domestic violence.

Details:

On Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 12:59 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff Station responded to a report of multiple gunshots in the area of Bay Avenue and Heacock Street in the City of Moreno Valley. Deputies arrived quickly and located evidence of a shooting at a nearby apartment complex.

Investigators from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded and assumed the investigation. Witnesses reported an altercation between five individuals inside the apartment complex that led to gunshots being fired. During the argument, a male, Detrich Harrison, a 33-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, was identified as the shooter. Harrison fled the scene before deputies arrived. No individuals were struck; however, the living room window of a residence was struck by gunfire. The round traveled through the living room and exited through the front door.

Harrison and his vehicle were tracked to a residence in Moreno Valley. A search warrant was served at the location, and Harrison was later arrested. Harrison will be booked for attempted homicide.

Details:

On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 5:15 PM, deputies responded to the 340 block of Shaver Street, in San Jacinto to investigate reports of a shooting that just occurred. Upon their arrival, they discovered an occupied residential structure was struck by gunfire. Investigators responded and assumed the investigation. During their investigation they learned a group of individuals arrived in a silver Dodge sedan and had a confrontation with other individuals at the residence. During the confrontation an individual who arrived in the Dodge sedan fired several rounds from a firearm at the residence hitting the building but did not hit anyone with gunfire. During their investigation the investigators identified several persons of interest and began searching for them.

On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 9:25 AM, deputies located the Dodge sedan at a residence in the 600 block of Steiner Drive, Hemet. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence at this address and several vehicles. During the service of the search warrant at the residence and of the vehicles evidence related to the shooting was located and seized by investigators.

Jordan Lee Wade 33 years of age from Hemet booked for conspiracy to commit assault with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm

Jessica Woolridge 31 years of age from Hemet booked for attempted murder

Rose Satele-Maifea 23 years of age from Hemet booked for conspiracy to commit assault with a firearm
