A hospital in San Bernardino County is asking for the public’s help to identify a man who has been hospitalized for more than a week.

According to a public alert issued by Dignity Health, the man was found on the 11300 block of East Highland Avenue in San Bernardino on the morning of July 2.

The patient has no documentation or evidence of his identity on his person and the hospital is hoping someone may recognize him.

He’s described as a Black man believed to be in his 40s. He’s about six feet tall and weighs around 163 pounds with black hair and dark brown eyes, hospital staff said.

In addition to a general physical description, hospital officials say some unique physical features might make him easier to identify including a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “LA” and a missing middle finger on his left hand.

Anyone who might recognize the man is urged to contact Dignity Health at 909-883-8711 ext. 23420.

Due to patient confidentiality laws, Dignity did not release detail’s about the man’s care, his current condition, or the hospital where he is staying
