<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On November 29, 2023, at 3:30 a.m., deputies from <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/743/Lake-Elsinore-Station">the Lake Elsinore Station</a> conducted a check of an occupied vehicle that was stopped in traffic lanes on Grape Street, near the intersection of Railroad Canyon Road, Lake Elsinore. The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, George Moore, a 59-year-old resident of Wildomar, was found to be asleep behind the wheel.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After waking Moore, he was found to be on probation for weapons charges. A search of the vehicle was conducted and over 80 grams of methamphetamine, $8000 in cash, and other items related to drug sales were discovered, along with numerous pieces of jewelry estimated at a value of over $20,000. The jewelry was later connected to a burglary in San Diego County with a victim being identified.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Moore was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on charges of drug sales and possession of stolen property.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Monday, May 15, 2023, deputies assigned to <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/746/Perris-Station">Perris Sheriff’s Station,</a> conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined the driver, identified as Juan Luis Castro, a 27-year-old resident of Perris, was on probation for weapon and narcotic violations.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A search of Castro’s vehicle resulted in the seizure of one pound of methamphetamine and a pound of marijuana. Deputies conducted an additional probation search at his residence which resulted in an additional pound of methamphetamine and ammunition.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Castro was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for possession of a controlled substance for sales, transporting a controlled substance, possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams, violation of probation, and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Thursday, February 16, at 12:18 PM, deputies from <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/742/San-Jacinto-Station">the San Jacinto and Hemet Sheriff’s Station</a> served a search warrant on a residence within the 44000 block of Highway 74, Hemet, in regards to a drug sales investigation. Through the search warrant, deputies seized 16 grams of powder Fentanyl, five grams of methamphetamine, one unserialized 9mm Polymer-80 handgun containing a loaded high-capacity extended magazine, and a stolen Smith &amp; Wesson 45 caliber handgun. Joseph Rene Perez, age 37 of Hemet, was arrested and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility for a multitude of firearm and drug charges including:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Tuesday Mar 29, 2021, approximately 7:40 PM members of<a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?CID=8"> the Jurupa Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Teams (SET) </a>representing the city of Jurupa Valley and the unincorporated areas of El Cerrito and Homegardens conducted a probation compliance check in the 7800 block of Minnesota Rd. in El Cerrito. The purpose of the check was to ensure the probationer was in compliance with the terms of his release. At the conclusion of the compliance check, 61-year-old Troy Sardone, a resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for possession of narcotics for sales. Sardone was also found to be in possession of pellet gun resembling a real firearm, which is a violation of his terms and conditions. Sardone was booked in to <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/678/Robert-Presley-Detention-Center">the Robert Presley Detention Center</a>.</p>
