<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Thursday, December 15, 2022, deputies from the Colorado River Station-Special Enforcement Team conducted a probation search in the 24500 block of School Road in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Ripley. During the search, deputies located and seized two sawed-off shotguns, a stolen semi-automatic Ruger .380 pistol, 250 blue “M-30” pills (suspected Fentanyl), and several boxes of ammunition. Roshawn Antione Vaughn, a 27-year-old resident of Ripley, was arrested for the following charges:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Possession of Fentanyl with intent to sell</li>



<li>Possession of narcotics while armed</li>



<li>Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person</li>



<li>Possession of a stolen firearm</li>



<li>Possession of a short-barreled shotgun</li>



<li>Child endangerment</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On July 28, 2022, at 7:35 P.M., members of the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) conducted a traffic stop at Cesar Chavez and Avenue 50 in the city of Coachella. During a search of the vehicle, approximately two pounds of suspected methamphetamine was located and seized. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The driver, David Rodriguez, 59 of Indio, was arrested and a search warrant was authored for his residence. At 11:00 P.M., members of CCAT, with the assistance of the Coachella Valley Narcotic Task Force (CVNTF), served the search warrant at a residence located in the 82-100 block of Dr. Carreon Boulevard in the city of Indio. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During the search of the residence, CCAT deputies located approximately 580 Fentanyl pills, powder Fentanyl, additional methamphetamine, heroin, ammunition, and items indicative of narcotics sale. Rodriguez was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center for possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl for sale, possession of heroin for sale, convicted felon in possession of ammunition, and committing a felony while out on bail.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On June 22, 2022, at 7:00 A.M., members of the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT), the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), and the California Highway Patrol, served a search warrant at a residence located in the 86-200 block of Pinot Noir in the city of Coachella. The search warrant stemmed from a narcotics and weapon investigation CCAT was conducting. During the search of the residence, CCAT deputies located approximately 300 Fentanyl pills, powder Fentanyl, methamphetamine, a stolen handgun, and items indicative of narcotics sale. Ty Welty, a 43-year-old resident of Coachella was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of narcotics while armed. Charges of narcotic sales will be filed on another subject who was not present during the search warrant.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On January 6, 2022, about 1:59 PM, Jurupa Valley Station deputies conducted a Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) compliance check at a residence in the 3800 Block of Hunter Street, Jurupa Valley. Deputies contacted 39-year-old Jurupa Valley resident, Solar Ratnaransy, who was living in a motorhome on the property. He was found to be in possession of approximately one pound of methamphetamine, approximately one-thousand pills of fentanyl and five pounds of marijuana. Additional items indicative of narcotic sales was located.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Additionally, deputies contacted 52-year-old Jurupa Valley resident, John Hall, who was living in a separate mobile home on the property. During their investigation, deputies discovered a Butane Honey Oil (BHO) Lab operation in the mobile home. Members of the <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/">Riverside County Sheriff’s Department</a>’s Special Investigation’s Bureau Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) responded to assist with the investigation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ratnaransy was arrested on several felony narcotics charges and a felony violation of his probation terms. Hall was arrested for operating a BHO Lab. Both Ratnaransy and Hall were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Coachella Community Action Team, La Quinta Special Enforcement Team, and FBI Safe Streets Team served a search warrant at a residence located in the 50000 block of Balboa Street in Coachella. During the service of the search warrant, Gang Task Force Officers located suspected heroin and multiple rounds of ammunition. Convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member, Noel Aguilar, 28 of Coachella was arrested for Possession of Heroin for Sales, Felon in Possession of Ammunition and Violation of Parole. Aguilar was subsequently booked at <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/708/John-J-Benoit-Detention-Center">John Benoit Detention Center</a> in Indio.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On September 24, 2021 at approximately 6:15 p.m., members of the Riverside County Gang Impact Team (GIT) and the Region 4 Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force attempted to arrest a male identifed as Danny Rodriguez, a subject on Post Release Community Supervision, and a documented criminal street gang member in the 21800 block of Silver Run Circle in Wildomar. Rodriguez had an active outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rodriguez ran from officers across several properties however he was eventually taken into custody after a brief struggle. Following a probation search of the suspect’s vehicle and the area where he ran, officers located almost half pound of methamphetamine, several ounces of heroin, over two thousand dollars of currency, and a loaded firearm. Danny Rodriguez was arrested and booked into <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/674/Cois-M-Byrd-Detention-Center">Cois Byrd Detention Center</a> on multiple felony charges.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On August 11, 2021 at 2:30 p.m., members of the Region 4 Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant at a large acerage property in the 24000 block of Bundy Canyon Road in the City of Wildomar. The subject later identified as Danny Rodriguez, a subject on Post Release Community Supervision and a documented criminal street gang member, refused to exit the residence and surrender to task force officers. Additonal resources including a <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/">Riverside Sheriff Department</a> K-9 and members from the Region 6 Perris-Lake Elsinore Regional Gang Task Force arrived to assist. Task force officers eventually entered the residence and located Rodriguez. He was taken into custody without incident. A probation search revealed over an ounce of combined methamphetamine / heroin, over one hundred suspected Fentanyl pills, and over two thousand dollars in currency. Danny Rodriguez, a 38 year old resident of Hemet was booked into jail for his felony warrant. Additional charges will be filed in the future related to the possession and sales of narcotics.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As a result of the search warrant, detectives recovered 2 loaded handguns, over 1000 suspected Fentanyl pills, over ¼ pound of suspected Fentanyl powder, approximately 2 ounces of heroin, approximately ½ ounce of suspected methamphetamine, several thousand dollars, along with 10 large gaming machines believed to be related to an illegal gambling operation. Danny Rodriguez, a documented criminal street gang member was arrested and booked into jail on numerous felony charges related to drug sales, weapons possession, and illegal gambling. &nbsp;Additional filings are anticipated against a second resident detained during the warrant service.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Members of <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?CID=8">the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement </a>Team investigated a complaint regarding the sales of narcotics from a residence located in the 4000 block of Ellis Street, in the unincorporated area of Home Gardens. Deputies were able to identify 51-year-old Fabian Diaz, a resident of Home Gardens, as the person responsible for the illegal narcotic sales.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On February 13, 2020, members of the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team, served a search warrant at Diaz’ residence and seized evidence related to the sales of narcotics. Deputies later arrested Diaz for possession of narcotics for sale and booked him into<a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/678/Robert-Presley-Detention-Center"> the Robert Presley Detention Center.</a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 7:00 A.M. deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) with the assistance of <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/">Riverside County Sheriff’</a>s Department SWAT served a search warrant at a residence in the 85500 block of Stacie Lane in the city of Coachella.  During the service of the search warrant, deputies located and seized five AR-15 rifles, two handguns, numerous boxes of ammunition, suspected cocaine, and narcotic sales indicia. Deputies arrested Mark Guzman Morin, 31 year old of Coachella, for Possession of an Assault Rifle, Possession of a Short Barreled Rife, Possession of a loaded firearm while in possession of narcotics, Possession of an unregistered firearm, and Possession of cocaine for sale. Morin was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.</p>
