On July 1 at about 4 p.m., deputies arrived at a location in the 25000 block of Barton Road after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

The deputies learned the victim and suspects argued about a parking spot. During the argument, the suspects allegedly assaulted the victim, displayed a firearm, and fled in a maroon Kia Optima.

Through investigation, deputies identified the suspects as Lonnie Hall, a 45-year-old resident of Compton, and Keira Brown, an 18-year-old resident of Loma Linda.

Shortly after the incident, deputies saw the Kia Optima traveling in Loma Linda and conducted a felony traffic stop. Three subjects were detained, and one of the subjects in the vehicle was Brown.

Deputies received information Hall was at a residence in Loma Linda. Central Station detectives and deputies surrounded the residence and called Hall in an attempt to have him surrender peacefully. Hall initially refused to exit the home. After a brief standoff, Hall exited the home and was arrested. A search warrant was served at the home and evidence relating to the crime was located, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Hall and Brown were booked at Central Detention Center on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
