The holidays have wrapped up, the new-year has begun and sweet 8 month old Asha is still waiting for a forever home. One of the longest residents, she came to us a stray kitten in September. Asha can be seen hanging out atop a cat tree, or taking a nap in a soft cubby. She’ll happily greet you when you come in (or you have a bowl of wet food.) Clover is a young, strong dog that is full of energy and spirit.  She has not had the benefit of basic training and will need an experienced adopter that can handle her energy level.  She is friendly with the staff and volunteers.  She also gets along well with her kennel mate.  She absolutely loves chasing and retrieving tennis balls.  Because of her strength and size, she will probably be too much for very young children.

Adorable, precious, beautiful girl.  Gordita came to us as a stray with a micro-chip.  Her owners of record didn’t respond to our efforts to reach them.  So now, she’s in the market for a new home.  She’s 6-7 years old, and weighs 82.3 pounds.  She’s a bit overwhelmed being here at the shelter, but she’s very willing to trust & be friends.  She would be a good companion dog.  She carries her food dish around with her, very cute.
