<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Friday, December 16, 2022, around 9:30 AM, The Murrieta/Temecula Regional Gang Task Force, with the assistance of security personnel from the Pechanga Hotel and Casino, contacted and arrested documented street gang members in the 400 block of Pechanga Parkway in Temecula. Both gang members, Joseph Pitroliere and Rodrigo Dominguez, were on active CDC parole. During the course of the arrest and a search incident to their parole terms, Task Force Officers located two loaded firearms, approximately 80 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and blue “M-30” (suspected Fentanyl) pills. One of the firearms was stolen from the city of San Jacinto in August of 2019 and the other was a non-serialized firearm. Also arrested during the course of the investigation, were Yolanda Aguilar, a 29-year-old resident of San Jacinto and Jessuly Hernandez, a 27-year-old resident of San Jacinto, both for theft related charges.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, at 7:44 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 Perris / Lake Elsinore conducted a vehicle stop in the 200 block of Indian Hills Circle, in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted Amanda Rico, a 33-year-old resident of Perris and Richard Rodriguez, a 23-year-old resident of Perris. Deputies discovered Rico was a convicted felon and operating her vehicle without a driver’s license. Deputies also discovered Rodriguez was on parole. Deputies requested Rico and Rodriguez exit the vehicle and they complied. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a loaded 9mm firearm.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rico was taken into custody and charged with Felon in Possession of Firearm and Felon in Possession of Ammunition. Rodriguez was taken into custody and charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and Violation of Parole. Rico and Rodriguez were booked into <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/674/Cois-M-Byrd-Detention-Center">the Cois Byrd Detention Center.</a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 9:59 PM, Region 3 Gang Task Force Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 3500 Block of West Florida Avenue, in the City of Hemet, on a BMW coupe for vehicle code violations. Task Force Officers spoke with the driver, Richard Jimenez, who indicated he had a warrant. Richard also disclosed there was a firearm in the vehicle. Richard was detained without incident and a records check confirmed he had two felony no bail warrants. During a search of the vehicle, a loaded Smith &amp; Wesson 9mm firearm was located. Richard was arrested for several weapons charges, felony warrants, and later transported to the Riverside County Jail.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force has been in existence since April 2006. The Law Enforcement Agencies within “The Valley” have been working together since this time on a daily basis. The Hemet/San Jacinto Gang Task Force is comprised of members from the Hemet Police Department, <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/">Riverside County Sheriff’s Department</a>, and the California Highway Patrol. The Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force operates in the Cities of Hemet, San Jacinto, and the unincorporated areas of Hemet. The law enforcement leadership within the valley meets regularly and coordinates the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force activities. Since the formation of the task force, leadership has recognized the importance of working together to provide the highest level of service for the citizens within the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Friday, July 30, 2021, at 1614 hours, Gang Task Force Officers from Region 2 conducted a bicycle stop in the area of Orange Street and 8th Street in the City of Beaumont, for a violation of the California Vehicle Code.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The suspect, identified as Cody Stamper, a 31-year-old resident from the City of Beaumont, had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest and was placed under arrest. A search of Stamper’s backpack was conducted and Gang Task Force Officers located a loaded 9mm handgun.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stamper was booked into <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/677/Larry-D-Smith-Correctional-Facility">the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility</a> for the following charges:</p>

The San Gorgonio Special Operations Regional Gang Task Force is one of six teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the Banning Police Department, Beaumont Police Department and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, at 8:09 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 Perris / Lake Elsinore conducted a vehicle check in the 300 block of F Street, in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted Christian Serrano, a 42-year-old resident of Perris. Serrano advised he was on probation for violating a restraining order. A subsequent search of Serrano’s vehicle revealed a firearm magazine containing (6) live 9mm cartridges, (10) live 16-gauge shotgun shells, numerous shaved keys, and (2) Balisong knives.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At 9:15 P.M., deputies transported Serrano to his residence located in the 21000 block of Headly Street, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County, known as Mead Valley, reference a probation search. Deputies contacted Christian Serrano’s brother, Andres Serrano, a 40-year-old resident of Perris. Deputies discovered Andres Serrano was on Post Release Community Supervision for a narcotics related offense. Andres Serrano advised deputies he resides in a trailer located on the Headly Street property.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A search of Andres Serrano’s trailer revealed a short-barreled shotgun loaded with (4) live 12-gauge shotgun shells, (3) live 30 Carbine cartridges, a small quantity of methamphetamine, and narcotics paraphernalia. A search of Christian Serrano’s residence did not yield any additional illicit items.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Christian Serrano was taken into custody and charged with Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Probation Violation, and Possession of a Switchblade. Andres Serrano was taken into custody and charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Short-barreled Shotgun, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, and Post Release Community Supervision Violation. Christian and Andres Serrano were booked into <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/674/Cois-M-Byrd-Detention-Center">the Cois Byrd Detention Center.</a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On July 10, 2021, at 9:30 PM, Gang Task Force Officers from Region 2 conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West Nicolet Street and 2nd Street on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). <p class="wp-block-paragraph">During a search of Smith’s backpack, a loaded 9mm handgun was located. Additionally, Smith had 3.1 grams of cocaine, over an ounce of marijuana, vials of liquid THS, several zip lock baggies, and $1,100.00 of U.S Currency.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Smith was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility for the following charges.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Regional Gang Task Force is one of six teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the Banning Police Department, Beaumont Police Department and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On July 3, 2021, at 11:13 pm, the Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District Team, were enforcing illegal firework enforcement on the 87000 block of Center St. of Thermal.  Five large aerial fireworks, a loaded handgun and illegal narcotics were confiscated. Vincent Adrian Villegas, 27yrs of Thermal was arrested for possession of a loaded handgun and an active felony warrant. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Villegas was booked into John Benoit Detention Center.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">All fireworks, including sparklers, are illegal in Riverside County. All fireworks are illegal because they cause injuries and very often, cause fires. Riverside County has very diverse terrain. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The vegetation is very dry where fireworks can easily start a brush fire. Individuals who cause fires by illegal fireworks will be held responsible for all suppression costs. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On June 29, 2021 at 10:10 PM, Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team/Gang Unit were conducting proactive patrol in the 20000 block of Juanita Avenue in Moreno Valley and attempted to contact two individuals sitting in a vehicle. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The passenger, identified as Armando Gonzalez (31yrs), attempted to walk away from deputies.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Gonzalez, who had an outstanding arrest warrant and is a convicted felon, was detained and subsequently found to be in possession of a loaded unregistered firearm, 8 grams of methamphetamine and numerous pills of ecstasy. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Gonzalez was booked into custody at Robert Presley Detention Center.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On May 13th, 2021, members of the Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force, with the assistance of <a href="https://www.coronaca.gov/government/departments-divisions/field-services-division">Corona Police Department Special Response and Tactics</a>, Corona UAS, Corona FLEX and Corona Vice and Narcotics teams served a search warrant in the 13000 block of Indiana Ave, Home Gardens. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During the search of the property approximately 115 grams of cocaine, 410 “M30” fentanyl pills, 1.7 pounds of marijuana, a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson semi auto handgun, over 200 rounds of ammunition and several thousand dollars were located. Alex Ocampo, a documented criminal street gang member, was arrested on various gun and drug related charges. Three other people at the location were arrested for various crimes.</p>
