<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Thursday, November 3, 2022, about 4:00 PM, the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force – Region 2 served a search warrant in the 1400 block of East 8th Street in the city of Beaumont. During the service of the search warrant, Gang Task Force Officers located a .22 caliber revolver, approximately ½ pound of methamphetamine, 13 Xanax pills, 4.4 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and other items indicative of drug sales. Gang Task Force Officers arrested Danny Herrera, a 44-year-old resident of Beaumont and Susan Waller, a 47-year-old resident of Beaumont.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Herrera was booked at the Larry Smith Correctional Facility for the following charges:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Felon in possession of a firearm</li>



<li>Felon in possession of ammunition</li>



<li>Possession of a controlled substance for sales</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Waller was arrested and released with a citation for the following charges:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Possession of methamphetamine</li>



<li>Possession of heroin</li>



<li>Possession of drug paraphernalia</li>



<li>2 misdemeanor warrants</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Regional Gang Task Force is one of eight regional teams that make up the county’s regional gang task force and is staffed with members from <a href="http://www.banning.ca.us/17/Banning-Police-Department">the Banning Police Department</a>, Beaumont Police Department and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 5:21 P.M., Task Force Officers from Region 7 Riverside / Jurupa Valley and Region 6 Perris/Lake Elsinore served a search warrant at a residence in the 5600 block of Tilton Avenue in the city of Jurupa Valley. The search warrant stemmed from a traffic stop where Pedro Anaya, a 46-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley and convicted felon, was found in possession of a loaded 9mm firearm. Anaya was taken into custody without incident.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A search warrant was served at Anaya’s residence, and Task Force Officers located an additional 9mm firearm, 55 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of methamphetamine, and 3.5 grams of heroin. Anaya was charged with Possession of a controlled substance while armed, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition. Anaya was booked into <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/678/Robert-Presley-Detention-Center">the Robert Presley Detention Center.</a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On September 25, 2021, at approximately 12:09 PM, deputies from <a href="https://www.riversidesheriff.org/608/Colorado-River-Station">the Colorado River Station</a> (CRS) responded to the 13000 block of 10th Ave., in the unincorporated area of Riverside County, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon and vehicle theft in progress. The reporting party observed two subjects return to his property driving a previously stolen utility vehicle. The suspects threatened an employee as they attempted to steal an additional utility vehicle from the property. The reporting party/victim attempted to stop the suspects from fleeing the scene and they attacked the victim with rocks. The victim was struck by one softball sized rock in the shoulder and head, causing bruising, and swelling. Cal-Fire paramedics were summoned to the location and treated the victim for his injuries. The victim declined further medical treatment and was released.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">CRS deputies arrived at the location and detained David Jaurequi, age 33, and Destiney Fisher, age 32, both from Redondo Beach without incident. &nbsp;Both subjects were later arrested and booked into the Blythe Jail for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Carjacking, Criminal Threats, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Elder Abuse, Conspiracy, and Felony Vandalism.</p>
