Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) continues to open doors for students pursuing careers in the music industry, thanks to an unforgettable opportunity made possible by long-standing partner Dolby Atmos.
On June 20, 2025, two MSJC audio students, Guy Reita and Barry Pashal, received exclusive backstage access to the Wu-Tang Clan concert in Ontario, California, as part of the group’s final North American tour. The students were invited to work alongside industry professionals for a full day of immersive, hands-on production aboard the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus—a mobile state-of-the-art recording studio and production facility.
MSJC Audio Technology Instructor with the Creative Media Program, Bob Bozonelos, emphasized the impact of this unique opportunity on student learning and career development, stating: “Through this collaboration with Dolby and the Lennon Bus, our students recorded, performed, and created music in Dolby Atmos alongside professional engineers and artists.”
Highlights of the experience included student Barry Pashal laying down bass tracks, Bozonelos recording guitar, and student Guy Reita engaging in valuable networking with the Wu-Tang tour team. From recording sessions to backstage insights, the experience gave MSJC students a front-row seat to real-world music production.
“Experiences like this elevate our program, deepen student engagement, and reinforce why we do what we do,” Bozonelos added.
