Suspects Arrested for Operating a Brothel

Details:

On June 21, 2023, as part of a human trafficking investigation, the Palm Desert Business District Team, Special Enforcement Team, and Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force served a search warrant at a spa business in the 74000 block of Alessandro Drive, in the City of Palm Desert. During the execution of the search warrant, Lijuan Ruan, a 41-year-old from Los Angeles, and Xiuxia Bai, a 55-year-old from El Monte, were arrested for operating a brothel. Both suspects were subsequently booked into the John Benoit Detention Center.

  1. None of the massage parlors are staffed by trafficked women. You can catch them after hours at the casino. They all have cars and operate as independent contractors

  3. This has been going on forany years way back in the cowboy days . People never got arrested. It’s a professional job . It no different than massage places. It’s entertainment for all as long as the adults. U have xxx movies theaters
