Dean Stockwell, a top Hollywood child actor who gained new success in middle age in the sci-fi series “Quantum Leap” and in a string of indelible performances in film, including David Lynch's “Blue Velvet,” Wim Wenders' “Paris, Texas” and Jonathan Demme's “Married to the Mob,” has died. He was 85.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On Monday, November 8th, 2021 at 12:40 P.M., Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Perris Station, responded to the 17100 block of Hidalgo Dr. in the unincorporated area of Perris regarding a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies responded and located a victim with a moderate arm injury as a result of being struck with a machete.
Spousal Abuse
On Monday, November 8, 2021 at 8:58 PM, Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 5200 block of Trail Canyon Drive, in the city of Jurupa Valley, regarding a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, Jeff Morton, 37 year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, was identified as the suspect and deputies made several attempts to contact him to gain his voluntary compliance; however, he would not comply.
California mother, boyfriend guilty of murder in boy’s death
A Northern California mother and her boyfriend have been convicted of murdering a 5-year-old boy after inflicting “extensive abuse” on the child.
