Assault with a Deadly Weapon

On Friday, October 27, 2023, at about 2320 hours, deputies assigned to Lake Elsinore Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call near Calcutta Drive and Canyon Lake Drive in Canyon Lake. Upon arrival, deputies located a victim with a single gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury.

“Jugging” Burglary Results in Arrests

On October 26, 2023, at 10:02 a.m., Norco Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a vehicle burglary near the 100 block of Hidden Valley Parkway in Norco. Upon their arrival, they learned that the victim had withdrawn a large amount of money and placed it inside the glove box of their vehicle before returning to the location.

Stolen Vehicle Suspect Arrested

On Friday, October 27, 2023, at 7:51 a.m., deputies and police officers with the Riverside Auto Theft Interdiction Detail located a stolen vehicle at the 79000 block of Highway 111, La Quinta.
