Details:

On March 28, 2023, about 9:23 am, deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Jurupa Valley Station responded to the 4400 block of Felspar Street regarding a major injury traffic collision. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a pickup truck had collided into an unoccupied parked truck and one of the trucks was engulfed in flames. Cal-Fire arrived and extinguished the flames. Upon extinguishing the flames, Cal-Fire located a deceased occupant inside one of the trucks.

The Jurupa Valley Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Alcohol and or speed do not appear to be a factor in this collision.
