On September 22, 2022, at 5:19 PM a shooting occurred in the area of Frederick Street and Sunnymead Boulevard in Moreno Valley. The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team/Gang Unit assumed this investigation and identified the shooter as Luis Duran Villalobos, a 34-year-old resident of Moreno Valley.

Homeless Outreach related Fentanyl Seizure

On Thursday, October 6, 2022, the Moreno Valley Station’s Homeless Outreach Team responded to a homeless encampment, located on the shoulder of the Highway 60 on ramp at Day St. While conducting outreach operations, deputies observed evidence of illegal narcotics.
