The Department of Veterans Affairs is proposing changes to the VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities specifically pertaining to the respiratory, auditory and mental disorders body systems.

On Tuesday, February 16th, 2022, at 7:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence located in the 31000 block of Avenida Valdez in Cathedral City. During the service of the search warrant, Gang Task Force Officers located a .40 caliber semi-auto handgun. The serial numbers to the handgun had been altered and were unreadable.

The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) in partnership with the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team, Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team, Lake Elsinore Special Enforcement Team, Temecula Metro Team, Riverside County Gang Task Force Region 6, Riverside Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations effected thirty eight arrests during a nearly week-long proactive enforcement operation that targeted online prostitution and those whose demand for these unlawful activities fuels an illicit underground economy, both locally as well as across the State of California.

With an alarming rise in the number of prescriptionss filled for non-benzo sleeping/z-drugs and anti-epilepsy gabapentinoids over the last two decades, researchers at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health aimed to fill in the gap in knowledge in the proportion of overdose deaths involving those medications and learn more about their co-usage with other substances across U.S. demographics categories.

On February 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., members of the Murrieta/Temecula Regional Gang Task Force (Region 4) served a search warrant at a residence in the 26100 block of Truelson Avenue in the unincorporated area of Hemet.
