Wade Abbas is a Graphics Specialist at Soboba Casino Resort’s Marketing Department, and he said he is exactly where he always wanted to be. Although graphic design was something he was always doing to some extent, it wasn’t until he was in college that he found out he could make money and get recognition for his artistic talent and in the process help businesses through advertising. That is when he chose graphic arts as a career path.

On Thursday, October 14, 2021 around 12:24 AM a Banning Police officer was shot at by a suspect during a traffic stop off State Highway 243 in Banning. During the shooting the gunfire struck the Banning Police vehicle and disabled it. The suspect fled the scene in an older model green wagon. Banning Police requested the assistance of surrounding law enforcement agencies.

Rios leads with a recent study from the journal Pediatrics, which found nearly two-thirds of the more than 140,000 U.S. children who lost a caregiver during the pandemic were from racial or ethnic minorities.
