Glue Spill Creates Sticky Mess In Riverside

RIVERSIDE, CA — A 275-gallon tote of glue used in concrete binding fell from a trailer and resulted in a spill Tuesday in Riverside.

The spill was reported just before 3 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Alessandro Boulevard and Arlington Avenue, according to the Riverside Fire Department.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health and the Riverside Fire Department Prevention Division were alerted about the spill. The company responsible for the spilled product was coordinating with Clean Harbors to safely secure the tote and conduct cleanup operations, officials said.

Fire crews estimated remaining on scene until about 7 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
