Library Book Sale Raises Funds For Local Branches In Palm Springs

Date:

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Friends of the Palm Springs Library will host a book sale to raise funds for the library this Saturday outside Our Savior Lutheran Church in Palm Springs.

The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at 1020 Ramon Road.

In addition to books, the sale will include media materials, such as DVDs and CDs.

“This is our first sale since the library closed for renovation,” Nanci Morrison, president of the nonprofit, said in a statement. “Our community loves our book sales and so we want to make every effort to make them available, and it helps us raise funds to support the library, so it’s a win- win for everyone.”
