The remains have been positively identified as Guillermo Jacobo, 21 years of age out of Thermal. The decedent has been positively identified as Thanh Phuoc Tran, 46 years old out of Hollywood, CA. This is an active investigation and no additional details are currently available. Suspicious Death – October 18, 2020
On Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 4:07 PM, deputies from the Colorado River Station responded to a call of a male deceased in an agricultural area near Kaiser Rd. and Oasis Rd. in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Desert Center. Upon arrival the deputies located a male deceased inside of a structure at the location.
