The Old Town Temecula Community Theater invites audiences to experience another Temecula Presents weekend March 2 through 6, 2022, with music from our Legends, Classical, and Big Band Series’.

Sherry Berry Music in association with Temecula Presents brings world-renowned flutist Hubert Laws to Temecula’s Stage. Winner of the 2011 NEA Jazz Masters Award and one of the few to specialize in the flute, Hubert Laws is one of the few classical artists who has also mastered jazz, pop, and rhythm-and-blues genres; moving effortlessly from one repertory to another. Make plans to experience the musical mastery of living legend.

Temecula’s Legends Series presents Wanted (Bon Jovi Tribute). Dubbed the nation’s number one tribute band, Wanted is an incredible concert experience that captures the atmosphere, excitement, and fun of the arena rock anthems that can only be described as Bon Jovi.

Let’s Get It On: A Night With Jackie’s Boy (Celebrating The Music of Marvin Gaye and Motown). Let’s Get It On is a celebration concert featuring the music of the late great Marvin Gaye and other Motown artists. The act features the Grammy-Award-winning songwriter and artist ‘Jackie’s Boy,’ who has written, sung, and performed to countless audiences, and has touched the hearts of many that have paved the way for his musical success. The performance will fall nothing short of amazing with colossal Marvin Gaye and other Motown legends’ hits will leave no room for sitting down.

Our Big Band Series’ 10th Annual Jazz Festival closes the weekend on Join us for a day of jazz from some of the finest musicians in the Inland Empire. Enjoy pre-show music in the Courtyard with the Andy Fraga Trio. The festival moves to Temecula’s Stage for an afternoon concert featuring Yve Evans, Keith Droste, Jonathan Karrant, Doug McDonald, and a host of jazz greats.

Kohler booked on murder, hit-run death after Palm Avenue scooter crash

Mason Drew Kohler, 31, was booked on felony murder, hit-and-run death, and DUI charges, according to the Riverside County jail roster, which lists a Hemet PD arrest at Palm Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue. Hemet police say two pedestrians on an electric scooter were struck there about 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22; one was pronounced dead. Police have not named the driver, and the decedent's identity remains withheld.
