California cities and counties didn’t permit nearly enough housing last year to keep pace with the state’s production goals, and much of what they approved wasn’t affordable to most residents, a new “report card” shows.

Friday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy was killed in a motorcycle accident on Soboba Road. According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 12:10 p.m., just south of Lake Park Drive. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
