Homicide

On February 7, 2022, at 03:09 a.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an unresponsive male subject lying on the ground in the 91800 block of Avenue 66 in Mecca. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male victim with trauma to his body consistent with a homicide.

On February 6, 2022, around 6:55 P.M., deputies assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Lake Elsinore Station, responded to a major injury traffic collision on Grand Ave. and McVicker Canyon Park Road, in Lake Elsinore.
