Gang Members Arrested for Illegally Possessed Firearms

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, approximately 4:30 PM, Region 2 Gang Task Force Officers conducted a probation compliance check at a residence located in the 700 block of Michigan Ave. in the city of Beaumont. During the compliance check Gang Task Force Officers located two loaded semi-automatic handguns, an illegal switchblade, and illegal narcotics.

Two Arrested for Maintaining a House for Prostitution

On Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10:30 AM, the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team with the assistance of the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) served a search warrant at the 79-000 block of Highway 111, in La Quinta regarding a sex trafficking investigation. The search warrant stemmed from a prior incident where a sex act was negotiated in exchange for money.

Fentanyl Poisoning Arrest

On August 9, 2021, about 2:45 PM, Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Deputies were dispatched to a check the welfare call in the 10000 block of Sparrow Court city of Moreno Valley. Upon deputies' arrival, it was determined a 25-year-old female adult was deceased. The case was immediately assumed by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Overdose Death Investigations and Narcotics Unit (ODIN).

Arrest made in Sex Trafficking Investigation for Multiple Sex Charges and Giving Fentanyl to a Minor

The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) conducted a sex trafficking investigation that began in Cabazon. During the investigation, RCAHT members learned Cody Hansen, 31 of Desert Hot Springs, was involved in human trafficking of a minor.
