In-Custody Death

On Friday, December 15, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., investigators from The Riverside County Sheriff’s Corrections Central Investigations, were notified of an in-custody death. It was learned Shaundale Booker, a 21-year-old male from Moreno Valley, was admitted to a local hospital for a recently diagnosed illness.

Illegal Indoor Marijuana Grow, Narcotics and Firearms located in Search Warrant

On Friday, December 15th, 2023, the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team served a narcotics-related search warrant in the 1200 block of Washington Avenue in the city of San Jacinto.

Home Invasion Robbery and Residential Burglaries

On December 06, 2023, about 9:00 p.m., a home invasion robbery occurred in the 10800 block of Rosemary Way, Temescal Valley, resulting in a victim sustaining injuries. Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station Investigators discovered a potential burglary crew was responsible for not only the home invasion robbery but also other residential burglaries in the Temescal Valley area.

Organized Retail Theft Arrests

On Wednesday, December 13, 2032, at 4:10 p.m., Thermal Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a business in the 78700 block of Highway 111 in the city of La Quinta after receiving information from the Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team that a car associated with organized retail theft in Palm Desert, Wildomar, and Lake Elsinore was in the area.

The cost of self-publishing

A friend (not a writer) recently asked me how much it costs to self-publish a book, understanding that I had self-published my last book.
