Details:

On Friday, December 15, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., investigators from The Riverside County Sheriff’s Corrections Central Investigations, were notified of an in-custody death. It was learned Shaundale Booker, a 21-year-old male from Moreno Valley, was admitted to a local hospital for a recently diagnosed illness.

While Booker was being treated for his illness his medical condition worsened. Hospital medical staff performed life-saving measures. However, he was ultimately pronounced deceased by attending hospital physicians. There were no signs of foul play. Booker’s family was notified of his death.
