Russia’s election commission on Monday formally registered President Vladimir Putin as a candidate for the March presidential election, a vote in which he’s all but certain to win another six-year term in office.

Asthma Rates Climb for High School Students as Cannabis Use Increases

Asthma is more common among high school students who use cannabis, relative to those who do not and the prevalence of asthma increases with the frequency of its use among the students, according to a new study at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and the City University of New York. VA housed more than 46,000 homeless Veterans in 2023

The Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it permanently housed 46,552 homeless Veterans in 2023 — surpassing the calendar year goal to house 38,000 Veterans by 22.5%.

Operation Reclaim and Rebuild 2024

During the week of January 22, 2024, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office participated in Operation Reclaim & Rebuild. Operation Reclaim & Rebuild is a multi-agency statewide initiative that focuses on rescuing victims of sexual slavery and human trafficking, identifying and arresting their captors, and disrupting demand for vulnerable victims.
