MSJC Cancels Drive-In Movies Series

Date:

Out of an abundance of caution amid rising COVID-19 cases in Riverside County, Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) and the MSJC Foundation have canceled its Cruz-In at the College Campus community drive-in movie series that began Oct. 2 at the college’s Menifee Valley Campus.

Riverside County health officials warn that the County may be on the verge of slipping back into the purple tier again, which would mean closures of businesses again.

Six drive-in movies had been scheduled during the month of October, but the college has opted to cancel the series for the health and safety of its community and to further prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 cases during the ongoing pandemic.

All tickets that have been purchased for “The Goonies” and “The Sandlot” will be refunded to the ticketholders. Anyone with questions can email MSJCfoundation@msjc.edu.
