MSJC’s Nursing Program Named #1 in the Inland Empire

Date:

Mt. San Jacinto College’s Nursing Program has been named No. 1 in the Best of the Inland Empire 2021.

The MSJC program earned the top spot in the Best Community College/Nursing category in the Press-Enterprise’s 26th annual readers’ choice awards.

“We appreciate the readers’ recognition of our stellar nursing program,” said Joyce Johnson, Provost of MSJC’s Temecula Valley Campus and a registered nurse. “We’re very proud of our nursing graduates who consistently pass the licensing exam and secure jobs in the field. It’s a testament to our dedicated faculty and classified staff.”

The program offers an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). All previous graduates who have participated in the occupational internship program, in past years, have secured employment through their internship. Getting a job in the field of study is one of the reasons MSJC’s Allied Health & Nursing Program earns high recognition in the industry. The current National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) pass rate of recent associate degree graduates at MSJC is 100%.

The demand for nurses continues to grow in the region and local agencies seek out MSJC nursing graduates.
