Deputies from the San Jacinto Traffic Team conducted a traffic enforcement operation within the city of San Jacinto on Monday, July 17th. The goal was to educate motorists and enforce traffic violations that most commonly result in traffic collisions. 90 traffic stops were conducted, and 83 citations were issued. Stop signs, red light, speed, and cell phone violations were most of the written citations during this operation. The motoring public took notice of the obvious saturation of deputies on enforcement stops in San Jacinto. This operation was funded through the grant awarded by the California Office of Traffic Safety.
