Illegal Indoor Marijuana Grow, Narcotics and Firearms located in Search Warrant

On Friday, December 15th, 2023, the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team served a narcotics-related search warrant in the 1200 block of Washington Avenue in the city of San Jacinto. Deputies arrested Jonathan Crowell, a 35-year-old resident of San Jacinto, without incident. During a search of the property, an indoor illegal marijuana grow was located along with the following items:

  • 135 Marijuana Plants
  • 2.38 pounds of processed Marijuana
  • 4.1 grams of Hashish
  • 0.44 pounds of Psilocybin Mushrooms
  • (5) firearms including an unregistered .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol

Additionally, items indicative of illicit narcotic sales were located. It was also discovered that electricity was being stolen from Southern California Edison to run the illegal marijuana grow. Crowell was later transported and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility for various narcotic and weapon related offenses along with the theft of electricity.
