Date:

The three suspects were taken into custody this week following a July 15 retail theft.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Three Chino residents were arrested July 25 following a retail theft 10 days earlier in Lake Elsinore.

Ursula Charise Ventura, 48, Jeremy Mikhal Lewis, 25, and Robert Edward Thompson, 37, remained behind bars Friday in Riverside County on suspicion of felonies that included organized retail theft, grand theft, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property. Each was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

The investigation into the trio began around 10:30 a.m. July 15 when Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a grand theft in the 18400 block of Collier Avenue.

Three suspects entered a retail store at the location and stole over $7,000 in beauty products, before fleeing in a black sedan, according to the sheriff’s department.

After collecting evidence, a search warrant was served July 25 at a residence in the 16300 block of E. Preserve Loop in Chino. Thompson and Lewis were at the home, along with several more items of evidence related to the crime, the department reported.

Ventura was found a few hours later in the 5400 block of Daniels Street in Chino.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Investigator Quick at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station: 951-245-3300.
