SAN JACINTO — The City of San Jacinto has circulated a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Bradley Gardens Skilled Nursing Facility Expansion Project, SCH No. 2026090689, according to the state CEQAnet posting.
The city’s review period runs from Sept. 17, 2026, through Oct. 16, 2026. Written comments may be submitted to Associate Planner Frank Chen at [email protected] by 5 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2026, according to the notice materials posted with the state filing. The applicant seeks a Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan and Design Review to expand the existing 44-bed Bradley Gardens facility to 103 beds on APN 435-330-003 at W. 7th Street and S. Grand Avenue, according to the CEQAnet project description. The project would demolish an existing 1,074-square-foot maintenance and storage building and construct an approximately 17,372-square-foot single-story addition providing 43 additional skilled-nursing and short-term psychiatric beds, and would convert an existing 2,596-square-foot vacant office building into a 16-bed psychiatric health facility, the posting states.
CEQAnet lists the site as about 2.98 acres, zoned Industrial Light with an Industrial General Plan designation, and lists San Jacinto Elementary School among nearby schools. The development-types summary on the posting states 59 new beds and about 100 new employees.
