Similar to distribution centers, the docks play a crucial role in quickly moving goods through Amazon’s logistics network, enhancing efficiency in the supply chain.

Amazon officials stated that job recruitment is part of the significant expansion in the Inland Empire, which underscores the company’s commitment to growth and investment in the region.

The new positions offer competitive wages, with starting pay of $20.75 per hour. In addition, employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Prepaid college tuition and upskilling opportunities through Amazon’s Career Choice program

“Amazon’s investment in the Inland Empire, bringing over 2,000 new jobs, is a significant boost to our local economy,” said Inland Empire Economic Partnership President and CEO Paul Granillo. “This initiative provides valuable employment opportunities with competitive wages and benefits. We’re excited about the positive impact this will have on our workforce and the broader community.”

Interested candidates can learn more and are encouraged to apply online at www.amazon.com/localjobs. New positions will be added regularly over the coming weeks, so job seekers are encouraged to check back frequently for the latest openings, Amazon officials stated.
