The Biden-Harris administration today submitted to Congress the president’s budget for fiscal year 2022. As the administration continues to make progress defeating the pandemic and getting our economy back on track, the budget makes historic investments that will help the country build back better and lay the foundation for shared growth and prosperity for decades to come.

Investigators were able to identify the suspect in this case as Gael Cazares, 19 years old out of Jurupa. He was located and arrested in the 5900 Block of Troth St in Jurupa and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for the murder of Manuel Villaman and the attempted murder of the second victim.

On May 28, 2021 at 3:16 am, Eastvale deputies responded to the 7100 block of Rivertrails Drive, in the city of Eastvale, for a vehicle burglary in progress. When the deputies arrived, the suspects had fled the scene. Deputies searched the area and located two male suspects wearing ski masks being chased by a homeowner from a nearby street. The suspects were detained and identified as Randal Amari (18 year old resident of Los Angeles) and a 17 year old juvenile (resident of Moreno Valley).

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the CDC announced that people who have been vaccinated were no longer required to wear masks outside or in specific enclosed venues.

At the first event of the day to mourn — well, fume — over the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police, activist Paula Minor climbed up on the back of a flatbed truck across from L.A. City Hall on Tuesday morning and shouted the obvious. “Changes were promised. A lot of things were said. A lot of things began,” she said, prompting nods from a few dozen protesters blocking 1st Street. “But here in Los Angeles, city and county, change did not occur.” She’s right.
