T.H.E. CENTER in Hemet has for almost forty years been assisting special needs children. Founded by Theresa Wilhelm in 1984 T.H.E. CENTER has assisted thousands of young people, not just special needs but all kids. Their summer program, currently under the guiding hand of Becky Polk, continues to grow.

At a time when folks’ nerves are on edge to start with, there are issues that just send one over the top. For instance:

It sits back from the street. As a matter of fact, one might not even notice it if he weren't looking for it. It is Valley Restart, one of the major shelters for homeless and down-and-out citizens.

We, as a country, have slipped into digression. The government didn't do that to us. We've done it to ourselves. How often have you heard someone say things that remind you of something your grandmother might have been saying back during the Great Depression? Not as often as we should. Because of our bad habits, we have some serious personal problems.

Yogi Berra would be dancing at the ballot boxes if he were around today because, up and down the ballot, it will be déjà vu all over again in November around Southern California.
