Racist Graffiti on Elementary School Leads to Arrest
On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, about 7:21 AM, deputies from the Hemet Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to an elementary school in the 57500 block of Mitchell Road in Anza, regarding racist graffiti found written on the school and on the roadway nearby.
Carjacking/Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Elder Abuse Arrest
On April 11, 2023, at 12:37 AM, Thermal Station patrol deputies responded to the 47700 block of Dune Palms Road in the city of La Quinta, reference a carjacking of a 75-year-old female.
Suspect Arrested in Mosque Burglaries
On March 17, 2023, at approximately 7:07 PM, Southwest Station deputies responded to an Islamic Center in the 31000 Block of Nicolas Road in the City of Temecula, reference a burglary. It was learned the suspect broke into an interior office door and took a locked box containing money donated to the mosque.
Armed Home Invasion Robbery
On April 11, 2023, about 8:30 a.m., the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) served a search warrant at an apartment in the 15000 block of Perris Boulevard, Moreno Valley. Property belonging to the victim was recovered at the location.
Homicide
The suspect in this case, Paul Galindo, was involved in an Officer Involved Shooting in the city of Redlands, on April 8, 2023, around 10:00 a.m. Galindo was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated and is in stable condition. Upon his discharge from the hospital, Galindo will be arrested for murder, and booked into a Riverside County jail.
