Major-Injury Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Traffic Collision
On April 14, 2023 about 11:22 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the report of a major-injury traffic collision on Day Street, south of Box Springs Road, in the city of Moreno Valley.
Shooting at Alabama birthday party kills 4 people, wounds 28
Alabama law enforcement officers Sunday were imploring people to come forward with information about a shooting that killed four people and injured 28 others during a teenager’s birthday party.
Deputy Involved Shooting, Sheriff’s K9 Killed
On April 14, 2023, deputies were in the unincorporated area of Perris known as Mead Valley searching for a wanted felon. At approximately 4:47 PM, a concerned citizen advised an unknown male and female were on their property, located near the 22200 block of River Road.
Possession of a Loaded Firearm Arrest
On April 14, 2023, the Thermal Station Special Investigations Unit conducted a weapons related investigation. The investigation led to the 50000 block of Kenmore Street, in the city of Coachella.
Armed Robbery (Update)
On April 12, 2023, about 06:00 p.m., the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST), Special Enforcement Team Gang Unit and Problem Oriented Policing Team, served a search warrant at a residence in the 24000 block of Lamont Drive, Moreno Valley.
