One Person Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation
In January of 2022, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of a sexual assault. During the course of the investigation the suspect was identified as Jubran Thabit, a 43-year-old resident of Temecula.
One Person Arrested in 2021 Murder Investigation
During the course of this investigation, one of the suspects was identified as 25-year-old, Andre Williams, of Las Vegas. On May 31, 2022, Williams who was previously in custody in a Riverside County Jail for unrelated charges, had the following charges added: Murder, two counts of Attempt Murder, and Use of a Firearm in the commission of Murder.
Texas police: Teacher closed propped-open door before attack
An exterior door at Robb Elementary School did not lock when it was closed by a teacher shortly before a gunman used it to get inside and kill 19 students and two teachers, leaving investigators searching to determine why, state police said Tuesday.
Burglary Suspect Arrest
On May 29, 2022, at 1:20 a.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to a business in the 31000 block of Temecula Parkway, Temecula, for a burglary in progress. Deputies arrived within two minutes and located the suspect running from the business.
Fatal Traffic Collision
On May 29, 2022, about 9:37 AM deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to the report of a major-injury traffic collision on Perris Boulevard, between Heacock Street and Canyon Vista Road, in the city of Moreno Valley.
