On March 4, 2022, at 7:58 p.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to a business in the 29000 block of Rancho California, reference an adult female victim who was struck five times by an unknown projectile. The investigation revealed that while the victim was in the parking lot of the business, a black hatchback sedan pulled up next to her and the passenger fired several shots from an airsoft type gun in her direction, causing minor injury.
On Friday, March 4, 2022, about 11:09 PM, deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of First Street east of Parkridge Avenue, Norco, regarding a major-injury traffic collision. When deputies arrived, they found the collision involved a single vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was found unresponsive and ultimately succumbed to injuries sustained during the collision at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured during the traffic collision, remained on-scene and cooperated with the investigation.
On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, about 9:19 p.m., deputies assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station, were dispatched to a major injury traffic collision on Limonite Avenue and Avenue Juan Bautista, in Jurupa Valley. Deputies and Cal Fire arrived within minutes and located a single vehicle that had collided with a tree in the westbound lane of Limonite Ave.
On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 11:52 PM, deputies from the Hemet Station responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the area of Thornton Ave and Hemet St in the unincorporated area of Hemet.
