Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On November 24, 2021, at about 1:45 PM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to the 1600 block of Setting Sun Circle, in unincorporated Corona, to investigate a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in progress. The victim, a 32-year-old male, suffered moderate injuries during the attack from the suspect, who was identified as Amy Alhindi, a 42-year-old female resident of the unincorporated area of Corona.
Fire leads to thousands of illegal marijuana plants
Authorities said they found more than 11,000 marijuana plants at an illegal growing operation Wednesday after one of the buildings caught fire.
Fatal Traffic Collision
On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, about 3:03 P.M., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station, responded to the report of a major injury traffic collision located at Bellegrave Avenue and Jamestown Avenue, in the city of Eastvale. Upon arrival they located an unknown adult male with obvious signs of death.
Loaded Handgun Recovered During Search Warrant Service
On November 23, 2021 at approximately 3:00 p.m., members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force with assistance from the Murrieta Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) served a search warrant at a residence in the 40700 block of Vista Murrieta Road in the City of Murrieta.
4 people killed in wrong-way crash were family on vacation
Four people, including two children, killed in Northern California after a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into their vehicle on Interstate 80 were members of a family headed to the Grand Canyon on vacation, their relatives said.
