Details:

On February 9, 2023, at 5:14 AM, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to the 25000 block of Railroad Canyon Road, in the city of Lake Elsinore, regarding a report of a single vehicle traffic collision. Deputies arrived and identified the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle as an off-duty Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputy.  The deputy sustained fatal injures as a result of this tragic collision. The Lake Elsinore Station’s traffic team responded and assumed the investigation.
