On Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 4:24 a.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 4000 block of Etiwanda Avenue, Jurupa Valley, regarding the report of a fatal traffic collision. When deputies arrived, they located a female in a business parking lot with obvious signs of trauma and deputies pronounced the female deceased at the scene. The driver and the involved vehicle were not located at the scene and efforts to identify both are on-going. The collision is still under investigation and it is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The identity of the female will not be released at this time, pending positive identification and notification to the next of kin.
