Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen at Harrah’s Resort SoCal wins award

Date:

Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Harrah’s Resort Southern California was recently recognized in the Wine Spectator’s 2024 Restaurant Awards.

For those unfamiliar with the awards, they represent the world’s only program focused exclusively on restaurant wine service. There are three tiers in award levels, which are explained below:

These wine lists, which should offer at least 90 selections, feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.

— The Best of Award of Excellence: These wine lists, typically offering 350 or more selections, display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation.

The Grand Award: This is the highest award. It’s given to restaurants that show an uncompromising, passionate devotion to the quality of their wine programs. These wine lists typically feature 1,000 or more selections, and deliver a serious breadth of top producers, outstanding depth in mature vintages and superior presentation.

As for the first and only Hell’s Kitchen in California, it won the Award of Excellence.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by Wine Spectator with this prestigious award,” said Ryan Adams, director of restaurant operations. “Since opening nearly two years ago, our team has worked tirelessly to curate a wine list that complements our culinary offerings and provides our guests with a truly exceptional dining experience.”

Located in Valley Center, the restaurant is open every evening throughout the week. For those looking for a nice dinner and wine pairing, this spot might be exactly what you are looking for.
