The Camelot, 800 W. Oakland Ave., Hemet, scored 85 / B on Sept. 2, 2026, and 100 / A on a Sept. 9, 2026, follow-up (IDs 430021; 430860).

Little Beijing, 41863 Florida Ave. Ste. B, Hemet, scored 72 / C on Aug. 27, 2026, and 98 / A on a Sept. 3, 2026, follow-up (IDs 428262; 430295).

Hemet City Council adopted Ordinance 2081 on Sept. 22, setting Stephens' kangaroo rat mitigation fees on a 4-1 vote with Mayor Pro Tem Joe Males opposed. The rest of consent, including commercial cannabis and $20,000 in Measure U for Fire Station 3, passed 5-0.
