Inland Empire Heart and Stroke Walk planned in Jurupa Valley

The American Heart Association’s annual Inland Empire Heart and Stroke Walk will be held Saturday, April 26, at Rancho Jurupa Park, 4800 Crestmore Road, Jurupa Valley.

The event aims to raise awareness of CPR and raise funds for research.

Survivors of heart disease and stroke will be among those participating in the walk and will be honored at the event, according to a news release.

The event will open with an expo at 8 a.m., and the walk will begin at 9 a.m.

The American Heart Association, supported by more than 35 million volunteers around the world, funds research, advocates for public health and provide resources to save and improve lives affected by cardiovascular disease and stroke, according to the news release.
